Pros: Excellent new facilities. Trauma heavy Level I center with good volume. Coverage of all specialties including Hand, Spine, Tumor, Pediatrics. Good academics and research. Three month rotation with Sports legend Andrews. Birmingham is a nice affordable city with Southern charm.

Cons: Program has gone through some administrative changes in last few years. Some say program is a bit malignant.

Final Word: Under-rated solid program in South.
