We are starting a directory of Ortho programs for our readers. We are doing this because choosing a program is important but there are few resources out there. Program web sites are generally outdated. Online message forums can be a hassle because you have to search for threads or make sure your thread stays prominent. Contacting programs directly can be difficult as they are busy and overwhelmed and can sometimes be rude. Contacting residents can be risky because you want to make a good impression and asking basics questions about the program won't help your cause.
There are 152 U.S. Allopathic Ortho programs so it will take a while for us to post on every one. There is a separate directory of 29 Osteopathic Ortho programs. Please help us compile information on each program so applicants have a place where they can find out about various programs. If everybody posts some information about their home program, we will have the directory up in no time. When you post, your email will not be revealed and you may post anonymously.
If there is no data in the link then it means we haven't gotten to the program yet and you can go ahead and post a comment describing the program in the standard format for each program. If you would like attribution, please go ahead and list your name. If you would like to be anonymous, post anonymously. If you are a student, resident or attending at a program and you disagree or have more specifics to add, please post a comment. We reserve the right to edit comments or delete them after incorporating key information into the program description.
